What Funky Buddha Was Known For

When it was open, Funky Buddha was one of the larger rooms in Mayfair, just off Berkeley Square and a short walk from Green Park station. Its nights ran from Thursday to Saturday with open-format sets of hip-hop, R&B, commercial and Afrobeats, backed by dancers, an MC and the champagne shows that table clients ordered with their bottles. Luxx Club London had also traded at 15 Berkeley Street, and Luxx has closed too.

Its size was the point: a large guestlist, a crowded dancefloor and plenty of people to meet. That is still the night most people searching for Funky Buddha want, and it is still available nearby.

What Has Changed for Bookings

Nothing at Funky Buddha can be booked any more. Tables, the guestlist and event nights such as New Year's Eve at 15 Berkeley Street have all gone with the club.
