Rumour Reservation Information

Rumour (formerly Tabu) is the club at 1 Dover Street in Mayfair, rebranded by the same ownership with a new design and concept in October 2026. It is one intimate room of around 200 built around booths: deep red velvet, dark panelling, a chandelier and low warm lighting, and it fills early by design. The music is open format: hip hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night. There is a no-photography policy in the main room and on the dance floor, enforced by the floor team, which is the clearest difference from the rooms around it. The door is 18+ with photo ID; the guestlist is for ladies, and men and mixed groups go in on a booth.

Rumour Table Reservations & Prices

For a Rumour table reservation, booths start from £1,000 minimum spend as of October 2026, which covers entry for your whole group: across eight people that is roughly £125 each. A booth is the route in for men and mixed groups, and larger booths and VIP options are on request. Your reservation includes prioritised entry, a dedicated waiter and our support throughout the night.

Rumour Guestlist

The Rumour guestlist is for ladies only, free to £20 on the door depending on the night and how busy it is. Men are not added to the guestlist, so men and mixed groups go in on a booth. Wednesday and Thursday are the more relaxed nights and the easiest for guestlist entry; Friday and Saturday fill out and are worth arranging in advance.

Rumour Music

Rumour plays open format: hip hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night rather than fixed to one genre. It is one room of around 200, so it fills early by design.

Rumour Dress Code

The dress code at Rumour is smart and dressed up: heels for ladies and a considered look for men. No sportswear and no fancy dress; trainers are at the door's discretion. The door is 18+ with photo ID. Note the no-photography policy: no photos or video in the main room or on the dance floor.

Rumour Location

Rumour is at 1 Dover Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4LD, where Dover Street sits between Piccadilly and Grafton Street. Green Park tube station is a few minutes away, and Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street are walkable. 99 Regent Street, at the Piccadilly Circus end of Regent Street, is a short walk away, and we book both.

Rumour Venue Hire

Rumour's single room of around 200 suits full takeovers and corporate events. Send us your date, numbers and budget and we'll come back with the options; terms are on request. The venue presents itself as a members' club, and we book booths and guestlist for non-members.
