How to Get Into 99 Regent Street (Formerly Cuckoo Club)

Getting into 99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club) comes down to four things: being 19 or over with physical photo ID, dressing for an elegant door, having your names down before you arrive, and picking the right night. The guestlist takes mixed groups by request, with entry from free to about £50, and tables start from £600 minimum spend, as of October 2026. Groups of men and big groups are safest on a table, Wednesday and Thursday are easier than Friday and Saturday, and arriving before midnight helps on any night.
The Door at a Glance
| Your group | Route in | Cost | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Women, or a mixed group | Guestlist, by request | Entry free to about £50 | Depends on the night and your arrival time |
| Group of men | Table | From £600 minimum spend | The safest route; covers entry for everyone |
| Big group, any mix | Table | From £600 minimum spend | Rises with the night, group size and position |
Whichever route you take, the same three rules apply at the door: the age limit, the ID and the dress code.
Age: 19+ With Physical Photo ID
The door at 99 Regent Street is 19+, a year older than most London doors, and everyone in the group needs physical photo ID. There are no exceptions on the night. Physical means the document itself, not a photo of it on a phone, and anyone who has left their ID at home should expect to be turned away, however the rest of the group is booked.
Every venue licensed to sell alcohol in England and Wales must run an age-verification policy that asks for ID carrying a photograph and a date of birth (gov.uk); 99 Regent Street simply sets its own line a year above the legal drinking age. If someone in your group is 18, Rumour (formerly Tabu) on Dover Street, a short walk away, admits 18+. Visitors from abroad face the same check as everyone else, and our guide to getting into exclusive London clubs as a tourist covers which documents to carry.
The Dress Code: Elegant and Enforced
The dress code is elegant, and it is enforced. Leave out sportswear, running trainers, shorts, caps and fancy dress. Clean, minimal trainers are at the door's discretion, which makes them a gamble rather than a plan; smart shoes take the question away. Black is the safe choice if you are unsure what counts as elegant. The code applies to everyone in the group, so check the outfits before you leave rather than at the door.
Guestlist or Table: Which Route Fits Your Group
The guestlist is arranged by request, and mixed groups are welcome: it is not a ladies-only list. Entry runs from free to about £50, depending on the night and your arrival time. Send us the date and the names, and we confirm the names and the night's terms before you go, so nobody reaches the door guessing at the price.
A table starts from £600 minimum spend. The minimum is spent on drinks rather than added as a fee on top, and it covers entry for the whole group. It rises with the night, the size of the group and the table's position, and VIP and larger tables are arranged on request. Most tables sit upstairs in the main room, which plays open-format hip hop and RnB; downstairs is house, darker and more dance-focused.
Can Guys Get Into 99 Regent Street?
Yes. Men get in either as part of a mixed group on the guestlist or on a table. A group of men on its own, and any big group, is safest on a table from £600, which covers entry for everyone in it. A mixed group has a genuine choice between the guestlist and a table, which is not the case at every club nearby: at Rumour, men are not added to the guestlist and come in on a booth.
Which Nights Are Easier
99 Regent Street opens Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am. On Wednesday and Thursday one floor opens, and those are the easier nights to get in. On Friday and Saturday both floors run, and those are the harder nights: ask early in the week, and treat a table as the surer route for a larger group.
Whatever the night, arrive before midnight. Guestlist terms depend partly on arrival time, and a group that arrives early, on the list and dressed for the door is the easiest group to let in.
Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday 31 October and New Year's Eve on Thursday 31 December. 99 Regent Street opens on both nights as part of its Wednesday to Saturday schedule, and tables for them are worth booking early.
Finding the Door
The address is 99 Regent Street, London W1B 4EZ, at the Piccadilly Circus end of Regent Street, but the entrance is on Swallow Street, the door the Cuckoo Club used. Piccadilly Circus tube station is two minutes away, and Oxford Circus and Green Park are both walkable. Agree on Swallow Street as the meeting point, so the person whose name is on the booking is there when the group arrives. Once you are through the door, our guide to what to expect at 99 Regent Street covers the night itself.
